Suggested Adoption Fee's are just that, suggested. We hope people who decide to help a horse that has been through so much, will understand that we only recoup a very small portion of the monies spent on an animal to get it back up to good health. 

Please do not apply unless you are a serious and prepared adopter. It is very time consuming to process each application, so please make sure your facility is ready to take on a horse before applying.

Keep in  mind we DO NOT know the background of the animals we take in. Some have had no training or may require re-training. Some just need a loving home. Many of our past adoptions have turned out to become good trail horses while others are just pasture companions.

HHT is looking for responsible homes for the animals that we adopt out. If adopters are not prepared to put the best interest of the animal first, please do not apply.

HHT is a private facility that only allows visitation by appointment. Every second Saturday of the month we do open our gates at
2417 Reagan Road
for the general public to come and visit with the horses from 10am - 2pm. Don't forget your apples and carrots!

"Special Equine Assisted Living"
The SEAL program was started to help provide homes to the geriatric, blind or medically challenged equine that come to HHT. Caregivers that participate in this program will be required to maintain expense accounts on the cost and care for the animal they have chosen. The cost incurred for the care of this special needs horse is tax deductible as allowed by law, and a letter stating the donation will be sent to all participants.

Has a Sarcoid tumor on his back we will get removed. Has something on the side of his head that doesn't seem to bother him, and has been there for more then 10 years. This will be evaluated by a veterinarian.

Very sweet, walks, trots and canters in the arena and on the trail,
calm and somewhat lazy. Suitable for beginner rider.

His one foot is so badly bruised it can be seen on the outside of his hoof.
He can be a little hard to catch in a large area.
In the round pen he seems to be very responsive.

Diamond "Shadow" on her side.
Shadow is est. at 7 months of age and very stunted
in her growth. Still being evaluated.
Onyx is being treated for moon blindness.

"Stormy" is small 4 year old pony gelding. 
He is halter trained and does well in new situations as
long as you take it slow.  He has no vices and is
ready to go to a home where his cuteness
can be fully appreciated.

Banjo has signs of extensive founder over the years.
Does very well with the farrier.
Loves people and can be rather mouthy.

These three are one wild bunch of ponies.
All are studs and range from 4 - 10 years of age.
 

"Ringo" estimated at 6 yrs. of age.
A little people shy, but a perfect gentlemen.
Young with plenty of potential.
Walks, trots and canters in the arena and on the trail, nice ground manners, western pleasure type, suitable for advanced beginner rider.
